Where does the money actually go?
Straight into your own Stripe or Square account. Formpiece never holds it. Simpro then records the matching invoice and payment against the job automatically.
Can I take a deposit rather than the full amount?
Yes. Set full or partial payment per service, so you can collect a deposit to secure the booking and invoice the balance the usual way.
Stripe or Square, does it matter which one I connect?
Not to the form. Connect the one you already take payments through; the customer sees the same checkout on the booking form, and the invoice and payment post back to the Simpro job the same way with the payment method and accounting category you nominate.
