Does it sync Simpro attachments to SharePoint?
Yes. Simpro to SharePoint attachment sync pairs a Simpro job or quote with a SharePoint folder, both ways or one way, so files added on either side turn up on the other.
Does the sync go both ways?
If you want it to. Pick Both ways, Simpro to SharePoint, or SharePoint to Simpro. On a one-way sync you also choose whether a change made on the other side is put back or left, and whether a delete is copied across or kept. SharePoint deletes go to the recycle bin.
How soon do changes come across?
When Simpro or SharePoint reports the change, so there is no timer to wait for. Simpro doesn't announce folder changes, so a renamed folder in Simpro comes across with the next file change on that job. Sync now checks a sync end to end whenever you want.
Which records can sync with SharePoint?
Jobs and quotes. Each sync pairs one job or one quote with one SharePoint folder, either a folder you pick or a new one named for the job.
Do customers need an account to download a shared file?
No. Share a job attachment as a link and they open it, enter the password if you set one, and download. The link expires after 1 to 7 days, 3 by default, and you can archive it sooner. Links are shared from job attachments.
Which Simpro records can I open?
Jobs, quotes, leads, sites, customers, suppliers, employees and contractors, plus work order asset test results and site assets. Search as you type, open the record, and its folders and files are there.
Can I copy attachments between Simpro records?
Yes. Open another Simpro record beside the one you're in, like the site beside the job or the job beside its quote, and drag files or whole folders across. Jobs, quotes, leads, sites, customers, suppliers, employees and contractors can all be copied to and from. Each is a one-off copy, listed with your other transfers: syncing is between Simpro and SharePoint only.
Is there a file size limit?
Simpro's own, 80MB a file. Anything too big is listed on the transfer rather than dropped.
