Do I have to change anything in Simpro?

Formpiece reads the build you already have - pre-builds, service fees, cost centres, schedule rates, custom fields and recurring jobs - and you choose which of them a form may use. What it can't do is invent them. If a service has no pre-build, or your technicians have no working hours, that's the part to sort out first.

Does it create a real job, or something I re-key?

A real job or quote, in the company you nominate, with the site, customer, cost centre, schedule, schedule rate and custom fields set. Nothing is queued for someone to transcribe later.

Can customers book against a job that already exists?

Yes, and that's how recurring work is handled. Filter the recurring jobs due in Simpro, generate a private booking link for each customer in bulk, and send it by SMS, by email, or into a Simpro custom field. The customer picks a time against the job that's already there, so it gets scheduled rather than duplicated, and each link can expire or be single use.

Where does availability come from?

Your technician and contractor calendars in Simpro, filtered by working days, public holidays and any time-group windows you've set. It's checked live, so the form can't offer a slot that isn't free.

Can customers pay when they book?

Yes, a deposit or the full fee, by card through Stripe or Square. The payment posts back into Simpro as an invoice and a payment against the job, using the payment method and accounting category you nominate.

Can it take quotes instead of jobs?

Yes. Run the form in quote mode and it creates Simpro quotes, with their own status, stage, due date, salesperson and custom fields.

How do I put it on my website?

Paste one embed code where you want the form, or install the Formpiece WordPress plugin. After the first paste, everything is changed from your Formpiece dashboard, with no developer needed.

How long does it take to get live?
